Again, the claimant refused to put to Ms Blackwell that the threat of disciplinary action hanging over him was due to him raising a grievance. Detriment 8: Being put under pressure to find a new role in the company and not being able to return to his store. 97. The claimant was unable to return to the Store whilst the grievances were being investigated. We accept that this was standard procedure for the respondent, but also that this amounts to a detriment. 98.
